We are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilled lives!
We are Heart of England Mencap
We are Heart of England Mencap, a social business with a charitable purpose, supporting people with learning disabilities across Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
We deliver a wide range of support, enabling individuals to live independently within their own homes, or with support tailored to meet their needs.
We find the appropriate ways to support people to live the life they choose, focusing on what an individual can do, rather than their disability.
We all like to have a say in how we live our lives. So, we aim to ensure that all of the people we support have a say in:
• where they live
• whom they live with
• who supports them
• how they spend their time
Our range of services includes supporting people within their own home, one of our properties, or during day opportunities. We encourage our customers to further enrich their lives through education, life skills, leisure, and a range of social activities.
We provide short break settings too where we provide the opportunity to develop transitional skills or the chance for a much needed holiday!
Our approach is to help people to live their best lives - ensuring customer safety and security, whilst encouraging customers to develop independent living skills and lead an active social life, with the reassurance of highly sensitive and person-centred support always being available when it’s needed.
Our Values
We’re proud of our established track record as a trusted local high-quality service provider for more than 40 years.
